Located within the Alameda Theatres Cineplex building, Alameda Cinema Grill features eclectic comfort food and a craft cocktail program inspired by Hollywood’s Golden Age as well as by the newest local bar trends. Cinema Grill was created with a desire to develop an innovative way to integrate the dining and movie-going experience. Restaurant patrons can purchase movie tickets and take food, beer, wine and cocktails with them into the movie through the backstage pass, a private corridor connecting the restaurant with the cinema.

Los Alegres Callejeros formed in 2017 performing at Agave Uptown Restaurant as part of Oakland First Fridays. They have been featured on stage at numerous Bay Area street fairs, breweries, at Linkedin, and both SF and Oakland Carnaval. Their sound is heavy in the traditional Colombian styles of Cumbia, Vallenato, Peruvian Chicha, and Cuban Son, The band members have roots from Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico and Argentina. Alegre means cheerful, Callejeros has many meanings including street performers. They draw from rich musical traditions to bring forth a unique musical experience. Whether upbeat Tropical Latin dance music or slow hypnotic minor key vamps, their melodies are infectious, and their rhythms are guaranteed to make you move and groove!

My visit was amazing! The food was so quick and fresh, so tasty. Deviled eggs were bomb. The live music at night was great, and my beautiful bartender, with her bright attitude and flawless bangs, did amazing at keeping my drink filled! The brunch also was by far the best I’ve had in Alameda. I can’t wait to go back!

Great drinks and wonderful service by every single bartender/server there. Easy going atmosphere, very good place to watch a band preform or enjoy a drink before the movie next door. Their food is delicious, I recommend all the sliders. You can buy tickets here too for the next door theater and they will bring your food to you during the movie previews. A1 service, I highly recommend them!
